Introducing the New and Improved MyEPark App

You asked and we listened! Download the new MyEPark App at Google Play or iTunes.

First time using the MyEPark App? You will need an EPark account. You can register for one when you download the app.

If you have feedback on our app, please email, call 311, or leave a review on the App Store or Google Play Store.

What’s new:

  • The option to enable Automatic Account Fund Top Up — no need to worry about running out of funds in your account
  • Notifications that alert you of low funds in your account
  • Selection of methods to remind you when a parking session is ending (in app, phone, or email)
  • Easy to find parking with a new wayfinding map, including a Find My Car feature
  • Revamped clean/sleek interface
Setting Up a New MyEPark Account
  1. Start MyEPark App or go to
  2. Click on Create an Account and fill out the form.
  3. Login again with your new ID and password.
  4. Click on the Profile icon in the right-hand corner and select Add Account Funds.
  5. Click on Set Up Payment Information if this is the first time you are adding funds to your account. Fill out the form.
  6. Select Manage Account to add phone numbers and vehicle licence plates. Fill out the form.
  7. You are now ready to be in mobile control of your paid parking. Click the three bars in the left-hand corner and select Start/End Session to record your stay at the EPark zones where you have chosen to park.

Change or Reset Your Password
  1. Start MyEPark App or go to
  2. Click on Forgot Password button.
  3. Enter the email address you provided when you signed up.
  4. Click on the Request Reset Password. An email will be sent to your email address.
  5. Retrieve the email (be aware it may take from 2-5 minutes for this email to arrive) and click on the embedded Reset Password link.
  6. The link will take you to a special reset display. Now you can enter your username and set your new password. Remember, passwords must be at least 6 characters long, and must contain at least 1 uppercase character.
  7. Login again with your new ID and password.

Start and End Parking Sessions

To start a parking session:

  1. Login to your MyEPark app.
  2. Click on the three white bars in the left-hand corner and select Start/End Session.
  3. Select Start Parking Session or select a EPark zone icon to start your session.
  4. Enter zone number and duration (If you previously selected a zone number, the information will be auto-filled).

There is a minimum charge of $0.25 for starting and stopping a parking session.

To end a parking session:

  1. Click on the three white bars in the left-hand corner and select Start/End Session.
  2. Select End Parking Session.

Receiving a reminder:

  • When you use the app to start and end parking sessions, a reminder that your parking sessions is ending will show up on your phone tray. You can also set unique sound alerts on your phone for parking reminders.

You can also use the Quick Park option by visiting

  • If you activate your parking session through, you will receive a reminder that your parking sessions is ending by either phone call or email.

Park a Friend

Using Park a Friend, you can start a parking session for any licence plate that you like, even if it is not on your account. It doesn’t matter if the plate is attached to another account.

Possible uses for this feature include rental cars, company cars or to impress your date by paying for their parking.

Login to the MyEPark App and follow a few simple steps:

  1. Click on the top left-hand corner. 
  2. Click on Park a Friend.
  3. Click Start Friend's Session. 
  4. Verify zone # is correct; if it is not correct please enter the zone # you would like to start a parking session for.
  5. Enter the licence plate you would like to start a parking session for (Enter notification # if you wish).
  6. Select duration of the session.
  7. Take a photo of where you are parked if you wish and click Start to confirm.

Please note that the MyEPark App is one of the many convenient payment options provided by Parking Services. In the unlikely event that you are unable to make payment through the app, you must use other forms of payment to complete your parking transaction. Failure to do so may result in a parking citation.

Secure Payment

EPark does not collect credit card information. Instead, credit card information is collected by a third-party payment processor (Bambora AB, a registered ISO of TD Bank) in compliance with Payment Card Industry (PCI) standards. 

Your credit card information may be stored by Bambora AB to facilitate payment for future purchases that you may wish to make.  By using EPark’s services, you consent to the storage of credit card information for this purpose.  

For information regarding secure payment and privacy issues relating to your credit card information, contact your financial institution.

While EPark is PCI compliant to ensure industry-standard measures are taken to protect credit card information, customers pay for EPark services at their own risk. 

The use of illegal, invalid, expired or other payment methods where insufficient funds exist are subject to all fees incurred by EPark and denial of services at EPark's sole discretion without notice.  

Site Security

EPark uses industry-standard encryption to protect your personal information. For site security purposes, EPark employs software programs to monitor network traffic that identifies unauthorized attempts to upload or change information, or otherwise cause damage. 


EPark uses cookies to provide a better user experience.  If you choose, you can opt-out by turning off cookies in the preferences settings in your browser.

Applicable Law

Parking is controlled by 'traffic control devices' as defined in the Alberta Traffic Safety Act. Parking and traffic regulations are found in the Traffic Safety Act, the Edmonton Traffic Bylaw and the Edmonton Parking Bylaw. Paying for parking does not alleviate the vehicle operator's responsibility to park legally, in accordance with posted signs, at all times.

The EPark website is controlled from its office within the Province of Alberta, Canada. The website can be accessed from all provinces and territories of Canada, as well as from other countries around the world. As each of these jurisdictions has laws that may differ from those of the Province of Alberta, by accessing the EPark website, the customer agrees that all matters relating to access to, or use of, the website or any EPark services, shall be governed by Alberta law and the federal laws of Canada applicable in the Province of Alberta. The customer also agrees, and hereby submits, to the exclusive personal jurisdiction and venue of the courts of the Province of Alberta and acknowledges that the customer does so voluntarily and is responsible for complying with local laws.

When licensing the use of services through the EPark website, the contract is considered to be executed within Alberta, Canada.

EPark System Features

The EPark App was designed for frequent parkers. It speeds up parking payments and can immediately provide funds back to the account holder in the case of early departure.

Unlike other parking apps, MyEPark doesn't store credit card details. This keeps costs down and avoids transaction fees. The preloading of funds on an account means you only need credit card details when topping up, not when parking.

Mobile services for MyEPark are powered by the City of Calgary's ParkPlus System. The City of Edmonton has worked in collaboration with the City of Calgary to deliver MyEPark to Edmontonians.
