The Fire Experience Session is an opportunity to learn about firefighting through hands-on exercises at the same training facility that Edmonton Fire Rescue Services (EFRS) rookies and firefighters use.

Participants will also get to talk with EFRS firefighters and learn more about the application process.

Proceeds from this session go to charity.

Firefighter Experience Sessions

Have you ever thought about becoming a firefighter? Want to learn first-hand what it takes? Join Edmonton Fire Rescue Services at our upcoming Experience Session, where you can learn hands-on what being a firefighter is like. You'll use the same tools that firefighters use every day and learn some of the same skills they are trained in. At the same facility that our recruits and firefighters train at, you'll visit a variety of stations, including forcible entry, confined spaces, fire truck familiarization, fire extinguishers, and more. You'll also be able to talk to firefighters about their experiences and what life as a firefighter is really like. Finally, learn about the application process and what you need to apply.

Course prices may vary due to varying course lengths, number of sessions, option to purchase materials, etc.
